This is a Public History web
site, so if like me you did
not like the way history was taught at school
then read on.
Public history is:
“all the means deliberate and otherwise, through
which those who are not professional historians
acquire their sense of the past” .
We as historians must
always remember that “being an amateur is about
feeling love for something, not about being
unprofessional. We are all historians and
through this site I would like to help people
understand how the legacy of the past has helped
shape and improve our way of life today, and
because this is a public history site, I want
you to bring your history to this site and
contribute to its growth.
